Fraser Helps Berks County Pretzel Company Find A Unique Solution To Their Printing Problems
Unique Pretzel Bakery is a Berks County institution and regarded by many discerning pretzel eaters as having the best pretzel in the region. For more than a century, the Spannuth family has been devoted to making quality pretzels – it’s their family legacy. When it comes to office equipment and technology, for the past 40 years Fraser AIS has created its own legacy by playing the role of master chef in cooking up technology solutions for its clients. It seemed only natural that Unique and Fraser would at some point become business partners.
Unique’s extensive customer base keeps it office staff busy, so its printers and copiers were getting quite a workout. The end result was office equipment that could not keep up with the workload and inkjet printers that were unreliable and not printing out quality documents in a timely manner. In their production space, Unique employees experienced frustrations such as trouble putting a stack of invoice paper through their printer, which slowed down invoicing output.
Because the feeders were not operating properly, the documents that they were distributing to their clients looked unprofessional. In addition, they were going through ink cartridges rapidly and as anyone who purchases office equipment knows, ink is a costly expenditure. Unique knew they needed to make a change and they needed someone who could provide them with a cost-effective solution. All the time and trouble that they spent trying to print documents and maintain the equipment so that it was operational, was costing them money and took them away from doing what they do best – making their famous pretzel splits. What they needed was Fraser.
When Fraser heard that Unique was experiencing many frustrations with their printers and paper workflow, the West Reading company had the recipe for success – Sharp multifunction printers (MFP). Fraser implemented cost-effective, reliable Sharp multifunction devices and a managed print services program. Almost immediately, Fraser helped Unique improve the quality of document output and lower its cost of operation. Unique’s owners, Justin and Bill Spannuth, are now able to focus their time on business planning rather than attending to printer frustrations. With the Fraser devices in place, Unique has been able to eliminate waste and minimize manual processes, implement refreshed technology that is compatible with Windows 7, and protect sensitive information through the use of data security kits.
Now that Unique no longer has to worry about a decrease in work efficiency, they can keep on rolling the dough of their pretzels and satisfying the masses. It was a win-win for both parties.
“We were really impressed and pleased with how Fraser approached our problem,” said Justin Spannuth. “It had been an on-going source of frustration for Bill, myself, and our staff and we wanted to find a solution, no matter what the cost. But Fraser was able to step in with a very cost-effective solution and solve our printing issues. Our business office is running very smoothly now.”
